What is salt used for in a water softener?

What type of salt do I need?
The type of salt you need depends on your water softener- either tablet, block, Mini Curve or granular salt. As long as you use the correct type of salt for your system, you do not need to use the same brand of salt as your water softener.

How quickly do you deliver?

Do you use a courier for deliveries?
No. We operate our own in-house delivery service within our delivery area, personally ensuring your products arrive in good condition. And, of course, we’ll actually ring the doorbell!
We may use third-party logistics providers for special delivery requests, such as bulk orders or deliveries outside our usual service area. This will be arranged with you in advance.
How do I claim the best price guarantee?
If you find another supplier offering a lower total price for the same quantity of salt bags, including VAT and delivery costs, simply send us a link to the product page or a written quotation. You can email it to southeastsalts@gmail.com or send it by text to +44 7438 386020.
Once we have verified that the competing offer is genuine and comparable, we will either provide a discount code to use at checkout or issue an invoice at the matched price.
A competing offer will be matched on a like-for-like basis only. For example, if a seller offers a lower price on 5 bags of block salt for collection, we will only match that price for a quantity of exactly 5 bags and on the basis that you collect from us.
Can I return salt?
Returns before opening the product are possible where return shipping is arranged and paid for by the customer. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns once the package has been opened. Please read our terms of use for further information.
